Job Search Objective: I am in the final stages of completing my doctoral research at Georgetown University. My dissertation explores the relationship between international agreements and government procurement markets. The work is equal parts theoretical and empirical, though perhaps the greater of my two contributions is the addition of two new data sets: the first composed of every contract signed by the USA between 1996 and 2010, and the second listing the size and characteristics of national procurement markets for 68 countries from 1990 to 2010.
I am interested in finding a position that will allow me to continue to explore interesting topics in the fields of international trade, industrial organization, and micro-econometrics. I am open to all job prospects: academic, government, NGO, and private. Do Government Procurement Agreements Work?
