Keio University with financial support from KAKENHI-PROJECT-24H00014 will host the sixteenth Empirical Investigations in Trade and Investment (EITI) Conference. Economists specializing in empirical economic research on issues relating to international trade and investment will present their latest research.

Conference Format:

The conference will begin in the morning on Thursday and will continue through the following Saturday at noon. The program will include a total of 12 papers, with one hour per paper devoted to presentation (40 mins), discussant remarks (10 mins), and open discussion (10 mins).

All participants are expected to attend all sessions on the three days of the conference.

Travel and Miscellaneous Funding:

  • Accommodations for all paper presenters except ones from the Tokyo area will be covered by organizers.
  • All international paper presenters will receive an airfare subsidy tentatively set to US$300 (after tax).

Submissions:

  • The submission deadline has passed.
  • Successful authors will be notified by January 10, 2026.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held at the Keio University Mita Campus.
